Joined by the City Choir \u201cJadran\u201d, led by Professor Andrea Orlando Tripovi\u0107 under the auspices of the Tivat Cultural Centre, the concert will feature soloists Ermin A\u0161\u0107eri\u0107, tenor, and Milica Lalo\u0161evi\u0107, soprano. Audiences can expect a magnificent musical evening filled with some of Verdi\u2019s most celebrated arias and choral pieces from\u00a0Nabucco<\/em>,\u00a0La Traviata<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Rigoletto<\/em>, alongside refined gems from the operetta repertoire of Johann Strauss and Franz Leh\u00e1r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The opening concert also sets the tone for the festival\u2019s rich programme, which will continue until 16 August under the slogan\u00a0Tivat \u2013 A Sea of Music<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Ahead of the Festival opening, Maestro Tarbuk reflected on both the Orchestra and the programme itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThere are many musicians in Boka, and the establishment of the Boka Symphony Orchestra brings mutual benefit both to the musicians of the region and to audiences who, until now, have not truly had the opportunity to experience a fully formed symphony orchestra. It is a matter of both sound and repertoire. Preparations for the concert are progressing very well, and the programme itself is extensive. We are joined by two solo vocalists and the \u2018Jadran\u2019 Choir, so it was important to select compositions that would suit their artistic strengths while also being pieces they genuinely wished to perform. We have shaped a programme that audiences will find especially engaging, as it includes some of the greatest masterpieces from the oeuvre of the great Giuseppe Verdi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are working to strengthen the Orchestra\u2019s visibility and to perform a diverse repertoire, as building a repertoire today requires mastering a very broad musical range. Also in preparation for TMF is Giovanni Battista Pergolesi\u2019s opera\u00a0La Serva Padrona<\/em>, a work from the Neapolitan Baroque period \u2014 a lively and exemplary musical comedy which we believe audiences will thoroughly enjoy,\u201d said Tarbuk.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n Clarinetist Lara Bubanja, one of the Orchestra\u2019s founders and its music producer, expressed her excitement about performing before the Tivat audience for the first time, as well as collaborating with the \u201cJadran\u201d Choir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBeyond being a remarkable artistic event, the performance of the Boka Symphony Orchestra at this renowned music festival also represents a powerful symbol of unity, collaboration and cultural connection between the three cities of Boka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Professional musicians from Tivat, Kotor and Herceg Novi are creating a unique musical landscape that confirms how culture transcends boundaries and connects people through shared values, talent and, most importantly, emotion. This will also mark the Orchestra\u2019s first appearance before the Tivat audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are especially looking forward to performing together with the City Choir \u2018Jadran\u2019.
